Most major networks prohibit cursing and other violence on their shows, especially if you watch before 9 at night. So, you can feel better about your children watching television. You know more what to expect than you do with movies. Some parents are shocked at even how some children’s movies are using adult connotations.
So, stick with your trusty television and choose not to watch movies, unless you are sure the content in them is acceptable and you have the extra cash to blow!
