Sports Are Better

            Television and movies are getting a lot of the blame for most of the world having problems with weight today. Fifty years ago people did not have as many problems with weight. This was mostly because they got out and were more physical. Of course fast food on every corner today doesn’t help either. But, in any case, a good reason not to watch movies is because you should be getting more active. Sports are a great way to get more active than ever before.

          Even if you are not athletic, sports can be a lot of fun. You can choose to take the whole family along for a great game of tennis, baseball, or even Frisbee. As long as you are outdoors, having fun and being active, you are doing yourself and your body a favor.

          Teaching your to be active and not watch movies is a great thing. This will teach them that their body needs to be taken care of and that they should get the appropriate amount of exercise each week. In addition, they will learn more skills of teamwork, self esteem, dedication, and physicality. These skills are very important and will help them throughout life.
So, choose sports over watching television and movies and see your family look fitter than ever before. You will love the way your new body looks and everyone will have more energy all day long. In addition, the children will sleep better at night, which is always a great thing.
